Fellipe Trovo

Fellipe Trovo is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt from Ribeirão Preto, Brazil, and a high-level super-heavyweight competitor known for his technical pressure and submission-focused style. Throughout his competitive career, Trovo has earned podium finishes and titles at major international tournaments. His achievements include IBJJF American National Champion in both gi and no-gi, IBJJF Las Vegas Open Champion (gi and no-gi), IBJJF Mexico City Open Champion, and a bronze medal at the IBJJF No-Gi World Championship, along with multiple additional podium finishes at events such as the IBJJF European Open and UAEJJF Grand Slam.

Recognized early as one of the rising talents in Brazil’s competitive jiu-jitsu scene, Trovo built a reputation through dominant performances at colored belts, including winning the IBJJF Pan Championship and the CBJJ Brazilian National Championship at brown belt before continuing his success at black belt.

At Legion, Fellipe shares the same technical approach that helped him succeed on the international stage, focusing on strong fundamentals, positional control, and efficient submission setups that work for students of all levels.

You can catch him teaching No-gi Fundamentals on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Gi fundamentals on Tuesday, Thursday all at 7:30 pm, and the Friday intermediate to advanced class at 6 pm.
