Directions
The academy is located in a plaza just off of Miramar Road, across the fence from the Miramar Memorial Golf Course that is a part of Miramar Marine Base.
Directions to Legion’s world class jiu jitsu:
From the west:
You can quickly reach the academy from the direction of La Jolla, University City, Clairemont, Clairemont Mesa or the I-5 and I-805 freeways.
All you need to do is head east on Miramar Road passing stores on the left and the MCAS Miramar base on the right. Once you see the white pyramid building (Innovation center) you are very close. Keep an eye out for this sign and turn left into our parking lot. The academy is straight ahead and visible.
From the east:
You can reach us from the direction of Mira Mesa, Poway, Rancho Penasquitos, Tierrasanta, Miramar Ranch, Scripps Highlands and the I-15 freeway by driving west on Miramar Road.
You will probably see some fighter jets and helicopters on your left belonging to the MCAS museum. This signals that you are about 2 intersections away from our location. Turn right into our parking lot after passing Ashley furniture store and Sid’s carpet barn. You can make a right before Concerta Urgent Care or after Gaya Gaya kitchen. Both entries go into the same parking lot. You’ve arrived.
From the north:
You can reach us most easily from Mira Mesa, Sorrento Valley, Carmel Valley, Torrey Highlands… by traveling south on Camino Ruiz, Camino Santa Fe, Carroll Rd. Use Google Maps or Waze to reach us in the fastest & most efficient way.
